La Mark 20S "Bidder" est une torpille anti-sous-marine britannique de poids moyen datant des années 1950, qui était déjà considérée comme obsolète avant même d'entrer en service. La Mark 20S est la version lancée depuis un sous-marin de cette torpille. Bien qu'il s'agisse de la première torpille à tête chercheuse de ce type de la Royal Navy, elle présente une fiabilité extrêmement faible, une portée réduite, une vitesse lente et des performances de guidage médiocres, ce qui la rend inadaptée face aux cibles modernes. Cette arme est restée en service jusque dans les années 1970 en raison de sa capacité à être tirée depuis les tubes lance-torpilles de « contre-mesures » situés à l'arrière des sous-marins des classes Oberon et Porpoise.
