Description
Developed to counter the increasingly threatening prospect of the Soviet submarine forces the SH-3 is a capable anti-submarine warfare platform used extensively across NATO. Numerous subvariants of the aircraft exist, providing capabilities from SAR to AEW. The SH-3 in its civilian guise is also operated by a number of airlines, particularly in the North Sea Oil Fields.
