Description
A prolific class of submarine chasers used by the PLAN and multiple other navies, the Hainan-class (Type 037) is a small, fast, and high endurance corvette that has proven capable of operating in waters across the South Pacific. These ships serve a myriad of roles, most notably being fast gunboats with ASW capabilities, and are equipped with respectable armament for their size. This, combined with their sonar and ASW mortars, gives the Hainan-class broad multirole capabilities, even though their ASW performance is unimpressive.
