Description
The F-4 is an US built long-range supersonic jet interceptor and fighter-bomber which was originally designed for the United States Navy. The airframe was found to be extremely flexible and was used by both the USN and the USAF. The F-4E solved one of the major complaints about earlier versions of the aircraft by reintroducing a fixed gun armament.
