usn_ssq-41Passive SonobuoyUSA
The SSQ-41A "Jezebel" is a Low Frequency Analysis and Recording (LOFAR) type sonobouy. This is the most common NATO passive sonobuoy, and has no ability to determine bearing like the later DIFAR sonobuoy, but still has decent sensitivity, and can be found in large numbers in any Western navy's stockpile.
